Bulk actions allow you to manage goals, subscriptions and deletions for an entire audience.
Tip: Build an audience specifically to perform a bulk action to update goals and manage subscriptions.
Bulk actions
Navigate to the bulk actions drop down on the audience page, where you will be able to select to complete goal, update subscription or permanently delete:
Complete Goal
Goals allow you to track success against key campaign milestones across multiple campaigns. You can update an entire audience to have completed a goal, for example, receiving a ballot or voting using this bulk action, just select the goal you'd like to audience to complete from the drop down menu of all your goals:
Update Subscription
Use bulk actions to update subscription status for an entire audience across email, phone, SMS and WhatsApp. Select the subscription you'd like to update and whether you'd like to subscribe or unsubscribe:
Permanently Delete
The permanently delete bulk action permanently deletes all people within an audience, including all their personal data. The data is not recoverable meaning, all personal data will be removed and deleted people will not be able to reply to messages they've sent. This should not be used for day-to-day data management but only in cases where data needs to be removed completely, for example, a data deletion request from a member.
Movement is designed to work by holding all your member data, from which you can create audiences using the search builder or lists, which are then reusable, editable or deletable. If you want to update data, you can do this easily without having to delete data - find out more here. If you wish to add a deleted member to Movement again, you'll need to reupload their data with the same membership number.
